A private prescription is a medical prescription which is not supplied by the NHS. This could be from a medical doctor, a clinician (such as a pharmacist), dentist, or a veterinary prescription for an animal.

After the consultation has been concluded and a treatment plan has been agreed, a private prescription will be written if required.
The private prescription can then be taken to any pharmacy of your choice for dispensing.
Alternatively, through our partner pharmacy, we can send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy of your choice or have it delivered through our partner pharmacy (fees apply).
In essence the choice is yours! You decide!

This varies on the medicine(s) prescribed and the quantity. A patient will usually have to pay for the dispensing of the medication and the full cost of the medication.
This cost varies from between each community pharmacy.

Payment must be made on confirmation of the appointment.

12 hour policy
We all know that life is busy and situations can arise out of your control.
Being a small business we kindly ask patients to notify us as soon possible. If prior to the 12 hour period, we will be happy to re-arrange your consultation to an alternative date and time convenient to you.
If the cancellation is within the 12 hours of the appointment, a 50% fee will be charged.

Yes, at the discretion of the prescriber. A surcharge of £10 will be added.

We don’t advertise our business phone number as it is not always possible to answer your calls.
Regular patients will be given contact details and we ask them not to share these if possible.
